Our products may include CCTV, IP cameras, DVRs, NVRs, alarm systems, access control, intercoms, gate automation, smart automation, networking equipment, power products, sensors, monitoring equipment and related electronic security products.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, SECURETECH supplies products and does not provide installation services.

2. ORDERS & ACCEPTANCE

Products displayed on the Website are subject to availability.

Placing an order constitutes an offer by the customer to purchase the selected Products. An automated order confirmation does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order.

SECURETECH may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • Products are unavailable;

  • there is an obvious pricing or technical error;

  • payment cannot be verified;

  • fraudulent activity is suspected;

  • incorrect information has been supplied; or

  • circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent fulfilment.

If payment has already been received for a cancelled order, the applicable amount will be refunded in accordance with applicable law and our refund procedures.

3. PRODUCT INFORMATION & COMPATIBILITY

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that Product descriptions, photographs, specifications and prices are accurate.

Manufacturers may change specifications, packaging, firmware, software or product appearance without notice.

Customers are responsible for checking that Products are suitable for their intended application and compatible with existing equipment, networks, software and infrastructure.

Where compatibility is critical, customers should contact SECURETECH before placing an order.

4. PRICES & PAYMENT

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR), unless otherwise stated.

VAT will be indicated where applicable.

Prices and availability may change without prior notice before an order is accepted.

Payment must be made using the payment methods provided through the Website. Third-party payment providers may process transactions.

The customer confirms that they are authorised to use the selected payment method.

5. DELIVERY

SECURETECH delivers to locations serviced by our nominated courier and logistics partners.

Delivery periods are estimates unless a specific delivery commitment has been agreed in writing.

Delivery may be affected by stock availability, courier delays, public holidays, weather, remote locations, incorrect delivery information, supplier delays or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact details.

Customers should inspect Products upon delivery and report visible damage, shortages or incorrect Products to SECURETECH as soon as reasonably possible.

6. RETURNS, REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with applicable South African consumer legislation and the nature of the transaction.

Where a statutory right of cancellation, return, repair, replacement or refund applies, SECURETECH will comply with that right.

Customers should contact SECURETECH before returning a Product so that the correct return procedure can be provided.

Products must not be returned without obtaining the appropriate return instructions.

Where a voluntary change-of-mind return is permitted outside a statutory right, additional conditions may apply.

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS & WARRANTIES

Where a Product is defective, customers should contact SECURETECH as soon as reasonably possible.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, a defective Product may qualify for repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.

Certain Products may carry a manufacturer's warranty. Warranty periods and conditions vary by manufacturer and Product.

Warranty claims may be affected by misuse, physical damage, incorrect installation, incorrect power supply, unauthorised modification, water damage, lightning or electrical surge, unsuitable environmental conditions, improper configuration or other circumstances specified by the manufacturer.

SECURETECH may require the Product to be returned for inspection or assessment.

Nothing in this policy limits statutory consumer rights.

8. INSTALLATION & USE

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Product prices do not include installation.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that Products are installed and configured correctly and, where necessary, by suitably qualified personnel.

Customers must comply with manufacturer instructions, applicable laws and technical requirements.

SECURETECH does not guarantee that a security or automation Product will prevent theft, intrusion, fire, property damage, injury or other loss.

Electronic security systems are risk-reduction and detection tools and may be affected by power failures, network failures, signal interference, equipment failure, tampering, environmental conditions, telecommunications failures, internet outages and third-party services.

9. INTERNET, CLOUD & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Some Products depend on internet connectivity, mobile applications, cloud services, cellular networks or third-party software.

SECURETECH does not control third-party services and cannot guarantee their continuous availability.
